Starting our private tour from Athens and taking the National Highway towards Peloponnese, we will make our first stop after approximately 1 hour at the Corinth Canal, a 6 km canal which connects the Saronic Gulf with the Gulf of Corinth and separates the Peloponnesus Peninsula with the mainland of Greece. We will make a short stop there for pictures and we will continue our trip to our main destination.
After a short ride of 20 minutes, we will arrive at the Ancient Corinth, the wealthiest city in all the ancient world and one of the largest and most important cities of the ancient Greece. We will visit the museum, the Temple of Apollo (God of healing, medicine, archery, music and sun), the Roman Baths, and we will walk onto the Bema (step) where St Paul preached to the Corinthians.
Afterwards you will be driven to Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth with its impressive huge fortress, one of the most important medieval castles of Greece. You can explore and wander around the castle, follow the path that leads to the top and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view.
After all these, we will head back to Athens and you will be dropped off at your lodging by our chauffer
